There are many adventure that one can opt in Kullu Valley or Manali regions, be it Paragliding, white water Rafting in River Beas or mountaineering or trekking. Here lies Lamadugh Hike, in the heart of Manali town and not so far from Old Manali or Mall Road. Lamadugh is a scenic hiking in Dhauladhar Mountains which offers you stunning view of Pir Panjal Mountain range on another side. From the top of Lamadugh Hike, there are plenty of nearby peaks visible such as Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peaks and Shitidhar. From Lamadugh, one captures the entire valley in its fullest form. Manali town lies around 1950 Meter and Lamadugh is 3050 Meter height. So these 1000 meters is quite steep, tiring but beautiful through tall pine forest, varieties of wild flowers, big boulders patch and much more.

Day 01: Start Hiking to Lamadugh in Manali
Morning you will have to report at given place & time in Manali time. Once we all will assemble here, a short briefing session by our tour leader and then we will visit Hidimba Temple and after that we will start our climbing towards Lamadugh Trek. The trail climbs steeply to thick forests of Deodar and Pine. There is no water point after departing from Manali until we reach Lama Dugh - five hours away. The climb offers a great glimpse of Manali, situated on the left bank of River Beas and the whole upper Kullu valley, which appears swathed in the different colors of the season. As one gains height, the distinct views of different faces of Indrasan, Deo Tibba and the peaks of Bara Shigri glacier open up. Multiple vantage points offer panoramic views of Manali and the area above it. In the last leg, the path turns to the right, and one traverses the ridge horizontally and enters Lamadugh, an alpine plateau with a small hut and studded with the thick growth of alpine flowers. Once reached, enjoy the view and one can go for their mini excursions. Enjoy the starry night and an overnight Stay in camps.
Day 02: Lamadugh – Manali back & departure
Wake up early morning, soak up the fresh air. After sometime, get ready, have breakfast and gear up for your descent to Manali. On reaching Manali, our trek will be complete. You can go for your own or can stay at Manali at your own expenses.
