Indrahar Pass is an ancient pass connect Kangra Valley to Chamba Valley & in between people of Old Time used to cross over Indrahar Pass at the height of 4300 Meter. We will start our trek from Galu Devi temple located at the upper part of McLeod Ganj. This will be the kick start and an overwhelmed journey through Tall Pine Devdar forest. Later in the middle half of the trek we will touchy the Dhauladhar Heights further to Ilaka got which was once the major source of water to Kangra Valley due to its huge glaciers which now comes to an end due to change in climate condition rapidly. At the tail of our trek we will make our base camp at Ilaka got and try to summit Indrahar Pass. Our guide, camp staff & all other support will be with you during this whole trek. The total ascent of this treks start from Triund which is easy and then moderate till Ilaka got but after Ilaka got to Indrahar Pass is quite difficult due to steep trail. There is nothing technical that one need to use any equipment but yes this trek will cross-check your stamina and physical fitness. This trek offers you mesmerizing views of Dhauladhar Mountains at one side and another side the entire Kangra Valley will open hand to receive you. The best time to do this trek is summer (May, June, July, August & September). Bit of these four months, May, June & September is the best.
